I had a great experience staying at this well-maintained, competently run hotel. The room was exceptionally clean with a comfortable bed and a nice welcoming gift. The staff was very pleasant and the food at the cafe was delicious. The location was very convenient and walking to town to have lunch or coffee was very pleasant. I personally came to unwind by lounging, reading and taking long walks along the beautiful beach. Perfect place to enjoy a blissful vacation. I highly recommend the Sand Castle to any traveler to St. Croix. Huge shout out to the owners and their amazing staff for being very helpful and welcoming. Keep up the great job!

The room was emaculate, well lit, and the fan plus mini split kept the room comfortable. That i could control both the fan AND the mini split was fantastic. Every employee i ran into was friendly and engaging. Had a castle Colada that was smoother beyond any one I've had anywhere in the past. HOWEVER, the breakfast left much to be desired. The pastries offered were not even room temperature, the boiled egg was cold, and the options were few. Perhaps it is better to NOT offer breakfast at all and just pay for breakfast from a menu.

This is a unique property with a lovely access to the best beach ever! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The room is spacious and all utilities worked perfectly. I loved that it is non frills and at the same time well thought out in terms of comfort. Will certainly recommend and return!

The Sandcastle on the Beach in St. Croix is an ideal location for travelers. The hotel is well kept, staff is extraordinary, food is delicious and the owner's obviously love hosting their guests. The beach is pristine and about 10 steps away from Sandcastle. Sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, lavish beach towels; all are there for guests. I also appreciated the adults only status.

Great atmosphere, spectacular views of the Caribbean horizon, beautiful beach, everyone was very friendly (Ifa =)), and the rooms were very well-decorated and equipped. A word of advice to those reading this review: when you travel to any island, remember that they face challenges that many mainland countries don't. Arrive with a positive attitude and don't criticize trivial matters or write pointless reviews that negatively impact these small businesses that work so hard to operate on an island. Enjoy the moment and live!

Sandcastle hotel was an awesome place to stay. The front desk personnel were helpful at check-in explaining what was available as far as amenities during our stay. The only thing I can say is the continental breakfast offered at the check-in desk needs an improvement. Other than that, the hotel grounds are pleasant and well manicured. The room I choose had a nice veranda, a kitchen with a larger refrigerator, stove and a microwave. The beach was clean, water clear ( great for snorkeling ) with chairs and umbrellas. I will definitely stay there on my next trip back.
