The property is peaceful and so cozy. Located perfectly between the wine trail and downtown, it is the IDEAL setting! All the conveniences of home, clean, comfortable and a true relaxation destination.
The Ranch House is gorgeous! Exceptionally clean and owners are thoughtful of everything down to the pastries for breakfast, quality toiletries, and Christmas decor. You’re out in the country but only about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg. Well worth the drive!
We will definitely be back!
Great cabin. Beautifully done. Very comfortable. Grounds maintenance needs a little work. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone that enjoys tastefully done accommodations and being away from the maddening crowds. We had cows, horses, deer, great egrets, hawks, other birds, and other critters to watch.
What a wonderful getaway. The guest house is so quaint and close enough to the town of Fredricksberg as well as all of the wineries. We were so surprised when we arrived to find a few muffins and scones as well as a bucket of snacks. What a nice and very appreciated touch. Waking each morning to see the horses and the deer was wonderful.
Great property to get a feel for living in the Texas Hill Country! A short drive to all major sites including Luckenbach TX and the pick in’ circle for live music! Recommend you check out this property for your next visit!
We enjoyed our stay at the barn house. It was a little far from the Main Street but we knew it was a bit of a distance when we booked. The house was charming, hospitality was great, everything was clean! Loved the tub! Most appreciated the quiet.
Loved the country setting was so calm and peaceful, but you are still close enough to the city for all the fun. The Barn was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The owners had food in the fridge and the place was so clean. The animals all around were so friendly. We will defiantly be making a stop here again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in The Grapetown Gasthaus. The cottage is clean and quiet and you'll see cows and deer from your windows. It's about a 20 minute drive into town, which was fine with me because I preferred being outside of town. Bankersmith, which is basically a restaurant/bar, is a few miles away and worth a stop. The cottage is also close to Luckenbach and to numerous local wineries. Loved seeing all the animals in the area. I was sad to leave!
The rustic atmosphere and decor was delightful but this is not a bed and breakfast. There is no real breakfast except for a box of pastries and four coffee pods that we used up day one and had to wait until day four to be replenished. So bring your own breakfast fixings. Enjoy the cows and tranquility.
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway from home and we found just that with Timberrose. It's located in their ranch with 4 cabins, but they are distanced for privacy. We enjoyed watching the cows on the ranch along with the deer, turkey, and various birds at/near the property. We also enjoyed the hot tub along with the breakfast items & snacks provided. There is a fridge, stove, cookware, plates, glasses, and utensils to use to make meals at the cabin. Main Street in Fredericksburg where alot of shops & restaurants are at is only a 15 minute drive to town and Lukenbach is just a few miles away. There is a great burger place about 3 miles away called Alamo Springs Cafe, which we highly recommend checking out too. If you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle & bustle of life, this is definitely the place to come. We highly recommend Timberrose.
We could not have asked for a better get away to Fredericksburg. We were on a working ranch 10 minutes from town. We not only enjoyed the quiet ambience of country living but also the convenience to town activities.
Amazing stay. It was a chilly weekend but they made sure we had enough heaters and blankets and the cabin was very comfortable. The Food was amazing. The place was clean. Hot tub was great. Stars were beautiful. Tim was available by phone leading up to, and during our stay. He got us set up, and then let us be to enjoy the weekend. We would highly recommend this place, and we will be coming back!
We enjoyed the quiet. Peaceful area watching the deer and other animals.
Was our first Christmas without family
They thought of everything breakfast. Snacks, wine for relaxing. Some Christmas decorations and explained how to use the equipment..hot tub, heater etc. And how to reach them...
Nice clean fun place.
The property itself was exactly what I was hoping for....naturally beautiful. The Barnhouse was beautifully built and furnished. Tim was very helpful. The donkeys and turkeys were fun to watch.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. It was amazing. It is so quiet and relaxing there. We thought we'd go out to Fredricksburg but neither of us wanted leave. Yummy breakfast and snacks. We will be back.
We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The accommodations were perfect and couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely keep this on our list.
TimberRose B&B was a perfect slice of heaven! The cottage was cozy, perfectly appointed, and situated in the heart of a working ranch. Tim and Rose were hospitable hosts and we cannot wait to visit again.
