Outstanding experience! Stayed in the Monolith unit … the feeling of sleeping in the trees was wonderful! Loved relaxing in the hot tub at night while enjoying the star filled sky! The room was as exactly advertised in the pictures. We arrived and the hot tub was going, the robs were hung, the lights dimmed. And it was just so clean and welcoming. You can tell the property owners have put a lot of thought into the grounds. The pools are great, Suana, etc. Host was very communicative and accommodating. We’ll be back!

We stayed at the spyglass for our 7 year anniversary. We liked the style and cleanliness. Everything was great until we actually started using some things like the curtains were a bit flimsy since they don't provide enough privacy but it did look nice. The shower could use a door since water falls out of the shower and on to the floor (very minor dislike) enough towels were provided. The bed was very comfortable. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. The pool/tree area was a nice touch to the night Not being able to light a fire due to dry environment warning was a let down but understandable. The amenities were nice. The private tub would keep pushing cold water and would not stay warm. The saunas was a let down not sure if it wasn't working or it just took long to get to desired temperature. The entrance and exit for the place was something we both liked and had no issues. We didn't really talk to any staff until we left and the was just to make sure we were exiting correctly and they were nice. Overall we liked our stay enough to enjoy our anniversary in Fredericksburg Tx.

Extremely clean. Loved the rooftop sitting area. We were so happy to have a hot tub that was actually hot. There does need to be a step for entry. It was a bit difficult for me to get in. It would also be nice to have path lights. It was a very dark walk to the place at night. There is no tv, but that's ok because we were there only one night. We would definitely go back. It is a beautiful, secluded property very close to downtown. Communication with the owner was excellent.

I was expecting the property to be nicer, but everything in the outdoor area was extremely weathered and falling apart. The photos online made it seem more secluded, but the Cocoon is at the main entrance where cars are constantly driving by and lighting the up the canvas on the cocoon at night. The cocoon has no sound proofing so lots of road noise from the highway, and a neighbor left a crated dog barking til well after midnight. I only had staff contact via text to let me know the soaking tub was out of order, but the person was friendly and offered a discount or a possible location change. I would not stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway for a mini reset. I arrived with my dog Oreo everything about our stay was perfect. The hot tub was sooo nice and the rooms were clean and kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need. Definitely recommend!
