“Fabulous view, staff friendly and restaurant and food were great and customers friendly as asked my husband if wanted to play darts even had non alcoholic wine”

“The property was spotless and cleaned every day. Staff checked if needed anything. Very helpful and pleasant service.”

“Cosy modernised end terrace house. Centrally located. Ideal for a short stay.”

“Cottage had everything you may need. Small welcome pack with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and shortbread for your arrival. Off road parking was a bonus. Chip shop within walking distance which was also an ice cream shop, post office and sold some groceries. Wonderful beach within walking distance too.”

“Very nice location. Comfortable but some dirty dishes in the cupboards and no waste bins in the bathrooms. Washing machine was very good and weather was good enough to dry clothes outside.”

“The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental.”

“Staff, service and food were exceptional. Would definitely recommend.”

“Wonderful shower and delicious food in the restaurant. We were just passing through but the hotel was just what we needed.”

“An older property and had no elevator that I found, but only a small amount of stair climbing. Rooms were old but well maintain and property very quiet.”

“Staff were brilliant, from even before we arrived to the second we left. Perfect”

“Beautiful and comfortable rooms, great food, kind & friendly owners! We loved our stay and highly recommend St Olaf !”

“We had a bay view room which looked directly out onto the harbour which was lovely to wake up to The room was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed built in. The tea and coffee station was tucked away nicely and there was a full size fridge with a freezer in. We found this excellent as we were travelling so it gave us a good opportunity to freeze our ice packs for the cool bag and chill our drinks down for when we set off again in the morning. ”

“Older hotel and it shows. It’s a small town though and it’s what I expected. The glorious view from our room was worth it though.”

“All together a lovely place to stay with very welcoming hosts. thank you very much.”
