I had a lovely stay at this charming and romantic Landgasthof. The room was clean and spacious, and I especially loved the bathroom setup, it was perfect for keeping up with my beauty routine throughout the trip. As someone visiting Germany for the first time, I was a bit nervous, but the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The restaurant is also worth a visit, the dinner was flavorful and delicious.

Top service and kind personel

On business trip arriving late, the restaurant was full, but we were set up in the bar with impeccable service and good food. Rooms were clean, large and comfortable, decorated in a romantic, classic style quite different from your average business hotel. Free parking, close to Autobahn, but in a smaller, quiet village.

Adequate hotel, excellent food

We stayed for one night while passing through on our honeymoon hoping for a bit of German charm. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was not luxurious but was adequate for one night. We did not receive responses to communications we sent prior to our stay which was an annoyance. The check-in time is very strict. We arrived just a few minutes prior to the black-out window because of our flight and had to wait until someone arrived, which was our fault but not ideal after traveling all day. We exclusively speak English and that proved to be a challenge, but the staff was friendly and tried their best to accommodate. The restaurant was excellent and the dinner service was outstanding. We would happily return for the food but not for the hotel.
