Great resort, perfect for visiting the Falls.

This is a beautiful hotel and resort. It's in a good location, just south of the main part of the town and only about 15 mins drive from the airport and 30 mins from the Falls. The resort is spacious and very-well maintained. Room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I expected. There's a lot here, from the pool to a forest-trek and small zoo/aviary. I wasn't here for long, so didn't get to see it all but it's well worth the cost and is an excellent price. Food was great, the Feijoada buffet on Saturdays is exceptional but it's good every day. Breakfast was a wide selection and very nice quality food. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort, especially if you're staying for a visit to the Falls.

Uncomfortable rooms

Majority of good hotels we have stayed around the world have tea or coffee making facilities, drinking water and Iron press in the room. The room was very cold and our first two nights were very uncomfortable. Finally we had to ask for a heater. Lot of noise in the night, we could hear the noise from the adjacent room also.

No recibí vista al jardín como dice mi reserva. La vista era a un techo horrible. Las habitaciones son anticuadas y viejas pero por lo menos están limpias. El hotel no tiene un ambiente de relax porque hay niños y ruido en todas partes, en especial a la noche es imposible dormir con el ruido de todo el edificio, ascensores, baños, fuente de agua, puertas, gente caminando, todo se escucha desde la cama. El aire acondicionado no se puede manejar desde el cuarto porque es central, pasé calor todas las noches. El último día decidieron prender el aire. La televisión era vieja y aunque subas al máximo la luminosidad igual es super oscura y no tiene la opción de conectar a plataformas para ver series. No recibí nada de lo que prometieron con expedia vip, ni las bebidas ni el upgrade ni ninguna de las otras cosas. La recepción y areas comunes tienen olor a viejo y humedad y siempre el ruido es muy elevado que no se puede ni hablar. Estuve en todos los hoteles de categoría de Foz y este no recomendaría, precio muy elevado para la calidad de lo que ofrece. Al final de la estadía en la factura habían cosas que no consumí pero lo aceptaron y no me cobraron, asi que hay que estar atentos a esto.

O Bourbon Thermas Cataratas é um hotel antigo que mantém uma alta qualidade, o fato de ser antigo não quer dizer velho. quarto amplo, camas com 6 travesseiros, qualidade nos lençóis e toalhas. O café da manhã é extremamente organizado e de qualidade, não só pelo número de itens, mas pela qualidade mesmo. A limpeza e arrumação do quarto são impecáveis. Os restaurantes e bares tem muita qualidade de conforto, decoração, atendimento e comida. é sempre um bom tempo com a família. Como pontos negativos acredito que a piscina central deveria ser aquecida. Dias de inverno ou meia estação se tornam impossíveis de entrar. apesar do hotel ter uma piscina interna, acredito que deveria ter aquecimento de todas. Também gostaria de ressaltar que senti falta de um músico que tocava mpb durante a feijoada de sábado, fazia muita diferença no ambiente se não me engano o nome era "Fumê". Destaques de garçons: Antonio (restaurante), Antonio (Bar), Natália (Bar), Suelen (Vezzoso). Equipe de recreação também incansável, tios Mickey, Açaí, Franja, tia Morango entre outros, atenderam minhas filhas com muita simpatia e disposição de atendimento.
