Perfectly located (bang in the middle of Fowey), extremely helpful staff, lovely spacious room with stunning view, and fab decking area over looking the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that there isn’t any parking so have to go to one of the town’s public car parks. Having said that, we pulled up outside the hotel, put all our luggage in reception before going to park the car.
Excellent staff, ideal location in the heart of Fowey with waterside terrace. No parking but that was to be expected. The main car park up the steep hill about 10 minutes walk. A shuttle bus service operates to and from the car park from 10am. Pick up in the town by the church, 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Fowey. We have stayed here a few times now and each time has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are friendly and keen to do what they can for you, the rooms are great (ours had double aspect windows over the river, which was delightful), and the food is really good too (we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in their restaurant). Ideally placed to explore Fowey and all its shops, cafes and restaurants. We would happily visit again.
This is a really lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Fowey with a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and Town Quay. We spent hours on this terrace whiling away the heat enjoying a drink. The rooms are very nice and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which had a small terrace with river views. With only 14 rooms it feels very special and up market, but is reasonably priced. The best thing about this hotel, however, is the staff who are all brilliant. Being a small hotel they all chip in with bar and restaurant duties so you get to know them after a couple of meals or drinks. We highly recommend this hotel and will undoubtedly return.
We had a lovely stay to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Marco the Manager was extremely welcoming , even putting our bags in our lovely room. The room and hotel are immaculate and very luxurious. The Sunday dinner was wonderful as was the breakfast. Very high quality ingredients. The staff were very attentive. A very relaxing stay. We will be back.
Hotel was very central, book in was easy
Very clean, room was lovely
Breakfast was very good
Parking was disappointing , use of a pay and display car park situated about a mile away up a very steep incline
Great location, comfortable and clean room. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Good supply of tea/coffee/biccies/water topped up daily. Paid for parking 10 mins walk away but this is made clear on the hotels website.
Room was very comfortable, staff very friendly and welcoming, lovely hotel. A bit of a walk to parking especially when carrying bags but not too much of a problem.
Room and restaurant with perfect views of Polruan and Fowey. Breakfast choice was generous and delicious with a truly friendly service. Room was of a good size, clean and comfortable. Nothing more to add other than the hotel offered a great place for a short out of season break.
Glorious. So helpful and kind. Comfortable bed . Breakfast so lovely. Great decor. Really enjoyable stay. Thankyou to the hotel staff for making a really great time.
We wete upgraded to a superior roo. With stunning views over the estuary. Will definitely return!

Room was comfortable, shared areas though, main reception hallway, being used to dump washing bags, decorators leaving tools and boxes everywhere, and an annoyed photographer, apparently the hotel hadn’t set up for his shoot, would stop me from recommending.
Wonderful views across the bay. Lovely touches from all at the old quay hotel to make our stay so memorable. A most lovely Christmas experience.Thank you and a happy new year to all the staff xx
A lovely one night stay in this boutique hotel in the centre of Fowey. All staff were really friendly, welcoming and hospitable. The hotel had a lovely feel, was clean and comfortable with lovely touches in the rooms to welcome guests and wonderful smelling essential oil toiletries A lovely wide choice of breakfast options too, set in the dining room overlooking the water. Great overall stay for one night although longer would have been lovely. Thankyou
Good staff and comfortable bed. On busy street at night with loud people partying that kept us up. No ventilation in room except one window that was so heavy it was difficult to open or shut. Other window had broken shades that did not open and that window did not open. Breakfast and service were good.
Food was excellent and service in the restaurant very good. The overall ambience was very pleasant. Our room was disappointing. It was small with no seat other than the bed. Wardrobe and drawer provision were inadequate even for a 2 night stay. The lack of parking is a serious problem with a 800 yard walk to pick up the car unacceptable to many of your guests, but it's a problem that won't go away.
