“The owner, Heather, was very welcoming and hospitable. Heather was informative about the local sites and places to visit. A peaceful location outside Skipton. Well appointed accomodation, although be challenging for less mobile guests due to the stairs and bathroom, however there is a stair lift to help. Good wifi and lovely to be given welcoming custard tarts and butterscotch toffees.”

The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. “Great cottage. Clean , comfortable with everything we needed and more. Lovely sitting out area at the back. Fabulous decor with some quirky bits throughout. Friendly village with a couple of pubs and village shop. Plenty to do round about. Highly recommended and will definitely return.”
