The staff were friendly and helpful at checkin. The smoke detector was ripped out of the wall (I later found it in the bottom drawer). There was a roach leg on the floor by the bed. Dirt and toilet paper scraps on the bathroom floor. Used bar of soap was still in the shower. The sink faucet wobbled back and forth. The water did work and did get hot. The towels smelled bad but appeared clean. There was graffiti on the head board. They did not turn on the ac prior to my arrival so the room was an oven when I entered it. It did cool down in a reasonable amount of time when I turned the AC on. The toilet worked really well. There was an ironing board but no iron. No hair dryer. I did not test out the shower. I liked the body wash that was provided, which I used for hand washing. I liked that it had a full sized mirror in the room. You could hear the highway traffic all night and trains went by all night as well. I paid $75 total and I really thought that would get me at least a clean room but I guess I was wrong. This is definitely a motel style place. The office had a vending machine and coke machine and ice machine. The furniture appeared to be new but the upkeep was definitely not happening. I did feel scared staying here alone. There was a mini fridge that was cold on the inside. Bed was pretty comfortable. They hand you the TV remote at check in.

The place was gross. The walls had boogers, dirt, and what i can only describe as blood on the walls. The non smoking room smelt like it had been smoked in for 100 years. The ground was so dirty I would walk around shuffling on a towel because of how black it would make my feet. There were tons of bugs all over the room. No bed bugs though. Air conditioner was super cold, water in shower was warm.
