Vacations Close To Fort Ward State Park

Close to Space Needle and cruise port, staff recommended locations for food

Everything was great! The area can be a bit sketchy especially at night so close to 3rd Ave but as along as you are aware, it’s a great place with lovely food nearby

The hotel was not in the best area, however they had a lot of security cameras and closed down the parking lot/entry to the hotel at around 11pm which made me feel a bit better about safety. The area was loud. There were lots of cars driving by all night and lots of sirens from the police in the city. Definitely not the place if you need a super quiet night. The hotel concierge told us we could check in at 2pm, but when we went back to check-in at 2, he told us we had to wait until 3pm. Seems like he should’ve told us that from the beginning instead of telling us to come back around 2pm. The hotel was clean and I did see the cleaning crew hard at work. The free parking was nice as well.

This is a nice hotel. Despite long lines at check-in, the staff was very professional and courteous. I requested a room on a higher floor if available, and ended up on the 34th floor overlooking downtown Seattle. The room was spacious and clean with a nice TV and good WiFi. You can walk to the waterfront from the hotel, although the return walk has a steep incline. I caught a bus to return. The train line from the airport is also only a few blocks away, so that was conveniently located. Would gladly stay here again!
