We had a great stay, starting with the positive, welcoming energy on check-in. The room was big, well decorated, very clean, and with both AC and ceiling fan making it cool. Then the property tour showed us how much love and care the owner and the staff dedicate to the inn. Orchids everywhere, new bikes for Guests to roam the Island, fresh from the store beach chairs and umbrellas… everything was perfect. On top of it the location is amazing. 5 minutes walking from the beach and across the street from food and drinks. I will 100% be coming back.

Great location about a five minute walk down quiet beach road to the beach and the lighthouse. Also the lighthouse shopping plaza nearby was a great source of excellent food and ice cream! Comfortable room with a great staff! Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the availability of the outdoor shower to clean off from the beach before coming inside. In addition, our gracious hosts allowed us to leave our car parked there after checkout so we could enjoy one last visit to the beach. Also, they allowed us to use their cart and chairs and afterwards use the outdoor shower, all after checkout! We will be back for sure!

We enjoyed a superb week! Staff was extremely helpful, our room was clean and quiet. The inn provided beach chairs, towels, and carts for the 10 minute walk to the beach, even a shell cleaning station. Plenty of bikes for guests to use. Excellent dining and ice cream shop available across the street. We can't wait to go again next year!!

We had a short 2 day stay in Sanibel, and Tarpon Tale was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Easily walkable to some dining, shopping, and nice beaches, and the complimentary bikes give you the ability to explore the whole island while leaving the car parked. The extra details of this small independent hotel (bikes, shell-washing stations, fire pit area) are a great match for the small town, friendly feel of the island. Highly recommend

Cannot say enough good things about the Tarpon Tale Inn! Joe and Connor went above and beyond welcoming us and communicating with us to make sure our stay was perfect. Very clean, food, coffee, ice cream, and shopping across the street and right next door. The free bikes and beach stuff were awesome. They have literally thought of EVERYTHING! Even a shell washing station. Will DEFINITELY be back!
