This property exceeded our expectations! Listed as a partial ocean view, but you could still see so much of the beach and water. We could watch the sunrise in the morning from the balcony and the sunset just a few steps away on the beach. They have a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool toys. We just wanted a short weekend getaway from the cold Chicago weather and this was the perfect spot. I will definitely be booking my next stay here when I’m back in Fort Myers Beach.

The location in the room were wonderful. The pool area was very, very nice as well. The receptionist greeting us could’ve been a little bit more informative, and let us know about the breakfast area.

We rented a two bedroom apartment. It was amazing! Clean throughout the entire hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect. Amenities provided in room were more than adequate and could get things refilled daily. The location is within walking distance of anything we could have needed for a long weekend. Thank you Edison Beach House for a great get-a-way!

I will forever book at the Edison beach house! Front desk the ladies are super lovely, full of information, they offer beach chairs, towels and beach toys for all ages at no charge, I even saw some floats for the ocean or pool. Their pool isn’t very big but sufficient to cool off and sun bathe!!! It’s my first time here and will be my forever Fort Myers place to stay!!!! Everything is in a 3 min. Walking distance❣️❣️❣️

Location is Awesome, it is on the beach. Staff was really awesome. Our couch bed had not been serviced. Informed the staff and they took care of it right away. I would recommend the hotel to provide double ply toilet paper and provide enough kitchen essentials. Other than that, we had a great time. Would stay here again given the opportunity.

The staff is so warm and friendly so it over compensates for any mild inconveniences. If you like to have a respite from sun while on the beach and you’re traveling out of state you’ll need to purchase a beach umbrella you’re willing to leave behind. We had a challenging time enjoying the beach without one. The proximity to the beach and restaurants is fantastic.

Check-in and check-out was seamless, all of the staff were happy to be of assistance, rooms were clean, right on the beach. Walking distance to a handful of bars and restaurants. When we return to Fort Meyers Beach we will definitely stay at the Edison House again.
