Room was clean. We paid for ocean view but you can only see the ocean by popping your head out and balcony was small Having a Kitchenette and laundry machine in the room was nice Pool was clean but having it close at 8 was not ideal as we arrived late and evening and lost from swimming time and there wasn’t much to do in the area or swim in the beach Restaurant on site was overpriced but the staff was kind and very hard working and the restaurant Manager checked in on everyone Breakfast was good but many things ran out quickly if you didn’t come on time And the beach was horrible smell with black sargassum and flies everywhere we couldn’t swim at all.

The front desk staff and room cleaning impecable.... Better than excellent. The breakfast very basic and the space for having it too small and less than basic. The thing that we disliked the most was the pricing of the little mart that they offer are ridiculous.... $8 for a bottle of water and $9 for a beer is sounds like a tourist trap..... The beach was unusable due to sargassum problem but is everywhere in the area...

Although we very much enjoyed the destination and amenities, the staff absolutely made us want to come back. We plan annual girls trips to Pompano but this was our first hotel stay. We 100% will be visiting again and now plan to stay twice a year. All because of how kind, efficient, and energetic the staff were. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Breakfast was good everyday...basic menu of eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal. Valet only parking was a little annoying but mostly efficient. Restaurant and bar on site were nice especially by the pool...get the chicken quesadilla. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Beach access was super easy and is a nice location. Overall a good stay and would come back.

Nicole and entire front staff were great. Pool is on the small side but still enjoyable. Great food at the restaurant, a little pricey and there seems to be more food runners than wait staff? We waited a while each time for our food. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Would stay again.

Everything was mostly great. Rooms are huge!!& you won’t get that many other places. Beach right on the hotel. Only complaint is that the restaurant service is super slow and sometimes ppl don’t come up to you when you sit. First solo trip & would 10/10 recommend! It’s close & convenient to Lauderdale by the Sea. From valet being so friendly to front desk staff being friendly & kind to the restaurant staff being nice! I mean quite literally everything was so great to experience. They offer a lot of amenities at this resort (get the wristband) I was actually surprised. I loved my time in Pompano & will definitely be returning to Residence Inn for my stay. The only downside is the people staying in the room next to me were kind of loud/ignorant. I don’t fault the resort for rude guests - but it kind of seemed like the walls were paper thin at times 😅 overall great experience though!
