This is a hidden gem. Beds were comfortable, rooms were nice. The pool area is enclosed in the center of the hotel & very nice. Mexican restaurant on-site was very good. Only issue was the a/c units didn’t seem to really circulate throughout the rooms & so we did have to buy a fan to get the room to a comfy temp.

Mold on bathroom door, additional safety lock was broke, we reserved 2 months in advanced for 2 cabins. Got there, none available so got 2 regular rooms and still charged for same price as cabin suites!

The hotel was a bit out of the way but other than that it was great. Very clean and the price was right. We got a good night's rest there and the Mexican restaurant attached to the place was a nice convenience.

Really clean

Check in was so easy! The front desk staff was awesome letting us know what to expect during our stay. The room was VERY clean and while it could use some updating the only thing I ever care about is if I can walk around barefoot in the room and if my kids can crawl on the floor. Yes to both is always a win. Breakfast was great. The pool has the potential to be something really special and had a 2 ft area where my toddler was able to stand. 10/10 for this place and the wonderful staff.

Starlite Village

The hotel was nice for the area and the staff I meet with was helpful and nice. The restaurant attached was pretty good food, stopped back by there to eat again a few days later after my stay there during my trip to the area. Was in Fort Dodge for work a night and then a few hours a day later that week. Would book here again if in the area.

State softball stay

Rooms are old and dirty, carpet is dirty, rooms smell, carpet felt damp from the air conditioner, dirt and dust on the lamps and air vents, etc. Front desk was very friendly. I don’t fault them for the condition of the hotel.

Man out front for hours with his huge dog. Seem to be know the lady working at the front desk. Dog slobbered all over my 78 year old mother. Should have people just hanging out in front of the hotel.

Room had trash in it still, had a waterbottle under the bed, had a jerkey stick under the couch. We were told the beds were queen size they were only full. O yeah did i mention they check someone else into our room at 3 am. Who then proceeded to come to the room and slam the door in an attempt to open it multiple times. Woke my entire family up. Positives were the mexican restruant was very good and their breakfast in the morning was pretty decent. Wont stay there again simply due to them basically allowing someone to nearly come into my room if it wernt for the extra lock on the door i would have been going to jail for beating up some intruder in the middle of the night.
