Vacations Close To Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The customer service was absolutely amazing, the location was incredibly convenient, and we were able to walk to the concert. The restaurant downstairs was also delicious. A few things, however, didn’t match what I thought I was booking. The rooftop pool is more of a small sitting or dipping pool. There is a much larger pool directly beside it that appears to belong to another building, which made the photos a little confusing. The pool itself was open, but the rooftop bar is only open Thursday through Saturday. I also thought there was a rooftop restaurant connected to the pool area, but the restaurant is actually downstairs. I was also disappointed with the room-service presentation. The photos suggested traditional room service served on a tray with real plates, but my food arrived upstairs in a takeout bag. After paying a service fee and a 20% tip—and purposely choosing room service instead of DoorDash—that was frustrating. However, the food itself was absolutely fantastic. These were small things that got on my nerves, but they did affect the experience because I specifically booked the hotel with those amenities in mind. That said, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, the food, the location, and the incredible customer service. We still had an amazing stay overall.
