“Llegamos de madrugada, y nadie nos esperaba solo un sobre con instrucciones. Fue muy difícil encontrar la habitacion, pues no imaginamos que estaría frente hotel, aunque estaba claro en las instrucciones. No nos gustó el olor del hotel en general. Las bañeras son incómodas, nuestra habitación se inundó al bañarnos. A pesar de todo nos gustó estar en Ford Davis, un paisaje increíble Fue una experiencia nueva y muy enriquecedora. ”

“The hotel is excelent, there are only two things I consider need improvement: control of hot water on the shower is difficult at very high water pressure, the right desire temp is hard to achieve. Bacon at breakfast is so thin that it is not enjoyable, it that not even taste as bacon, if you want to give your customers a better taste meal, try something better. Thanks for a pleasent staying.”

“Our room was huge. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was a rollaway ready to go in the closet. The bathroom was very small but workable. The Star Party program (~ 2 hours, depending on weather & crowd size) is fun for the entire family, and is open to everyone (reservations are nearly always required as this program frequently sells out.) Enjoy night sky constellation tours and views of celestial objects through a number of telescopes (varying in size up to a 24-inch Ritchey–Chrétien telescope) in the Rebecca Gale Telescope Park at the Visitors Center (i.e., NOT at the research telescopes at the top of our peaks) every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday evening (schedule varies during the end-of-the-year holidays and Spring Break). Those with mobility issues, please note the distances involved with participating in the Star Party. There is a slight incline over that distance from the Center all the way through the Telescope Park to the Amphitheater with that latter structure being ~ 20 feet higher than the Center's front doors
