With the name Budget in the name, my expectations were low. It was clean and all that I was looking for was a place to crash overnight that was clean and safe. It met my needs.

While the motel is aged I enjoyed my time there. The owners Carol and Leonard and their staff are very nice . If you need anything they are right there. I felt very safe while staying there, it is next to a truck stop on a frontage road. Johnston truck stop has a diner and they have excellent food and make huge fresh donuts every morning. I will definitely stay again

The staff is amazing only thing I didn't like was that the room had t been thoroughly. Leaned for quite awhile as evidenced by the fuzz balls behind refrigerator, behind dresser and in between furniture and walls was highly visible.

It is very cheap and you get what you (don't) pay for: it's a dump. Fridge and microwave were filthy, bathroom floor wet (toilet leaking, maybe?), I would not go into the shower. The beds were OK. The A/C was extremely noisy. On the flip side, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful, e.g. replaced the cable box when the TV would not work. Bottom line, if you want to save a buck for a night and are reasonably tough, it will work.

The building is old. Lots if stuff is dated. The electric outlets are sparse. The lady at the desk gets an A PLUS PLUS. She replaced the cable box and helped us get in the room.

Check in went fine. The room showed some wear and tear in the bathroom and carpet. the bed was comfortable. My main issue was with the TV setup. It was Direct TV and when I went to watch a world cup match, I couldn't get the correct channel. So, I missed the second half. The other issue was a lack of electrical outlets for charging. I finally disconnected the microwave and charged my phone.

Good place to stay

It was a great location for us. The road construction was a pain but that was not their fault. It is an older Motel and could use some updating, But every thing worked well and it was clean. The price was good. Great hosts.
