Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. We loved this motel! Pet friendly, which was very important to us because we have a fur baby who comes with us everywhere! Staff was really friendly and motel was very clean. We had a great experience! We definitely recommend!

The room was clean and tidy, and I was happy that the pillows actually supported my head and neck. If you're particular about shampoo and conditioner, I would highly suggest you bring your own. I like that this lodging is so close to the ocean and I could enjoy the view from the room. It's also nice to have access to the promenade and the Pudding Creek Trestle bridge. Overall a wonderful stay in Fort Bragg.

We loved our time at Beachcomber! Staff was welcoming and our pups loved the direct access to trails, dog park, and beach. Did have to drive to all meals but it wasn’t far and was well with a trip into town.

Staff was friendly. Refrigerator and microwave was convenient to have. And having the EV charger was a nice plus. The room would get a bit hot or musty after awhile and would have to vent it out by opening the patio door. The fireplace did keep us warm at night when it was needed. Overall great stay at Beachcomber motel.
