Loved the greeting. The room was clean. The house is still being renovated, though the spaces we were in were mostly done. We did not get the room we reserved, at this point unsure if we were upcharged for the room we were given. It's only $10, but we haven't seen a receipt so can't really tell. The bed was to soft, like hardly move in it. Some may like that. Nice couple. Price was right.

My first bed-and-breakfast experience, and I’ve been spoiled. The home is beautiful (like seriously), the amenities are wonderful, the homemade breakfast - delicious. The hosts, Pete & Keri, incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the shower/bath wonderfully hot. I was so comfortable, I forgot my shoes and walked around like I owned the place. My only complaint? Tomorrow I have to make my own breakfast (boo) and I’ll miss the great conversation with everyone staying. Will be back!

Beautifully restored bed and breakfast

The Katherine Holle house is absolutely beautiful. I love how there is so much of the original home lovingly restored. The room was extremely comfortable and I had the best night’s sleep ever. It is within easy walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

We stayed there for 2 nights in December. The home has been renewed in the period style with all of the amazing woodwork and fixtures taking you back to a simpler time. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was freshly made to our request. Our hosts were a delight and met our every need. We will return.

Keri and Pete go out of their way to make you feel welcome and relaxed. The rooms are top notch and each have their own theme. The breakfast is out of this world and the greeter Maggie is one of a kind! This place is a hidden gem! Do not pass it up when you are in fabulous Watertown WI!
