The staff was very accommodating and breakfast was well worth it. The room was clean except for mold in the bottom of the shower which is unfortunate. Nice, quiet area within walking distance of downtown.

Outstanding! Gordon and the staff were wonderful with welcoming from the moment you step in the door, till you leave. With lots of history and ideas of sites to visit. The breakfast was outstanding, with grace and charm. Probably the best breakfast we’ve experienced anywhere! I truly cannot say enough of how much we appreciated our stay! We’ll be back!

This was a very enjoyable stay. It is a beautiful building with many original features. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The weather outside was cold and frosty but the hotel was very warm and cosy. Food was delicious.

The Ramnee hotel was an excellent stay for us while we toured the highlands. The hotel has a ton of character and our room was excellent. There are a few things to walk to from the hotel, but a car is a benefit to go into town. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

Warm friendly staff in a great location. Building getting tired. En-suite very old but clean shower sub optimal pressure and flow. The staff we amazing but the property does need updated and the fact they gave me my peach schnapps with tonic water instead of lemonade and the half pint shandy with tonic water as well was disappointed as I was not asked if this was ok. I did query when I took my drink and knew it wasn't right. Was given an apology but not the point. Don't think we will stay again. (Yes I know they are still recovering from COVID) just hope they can improve with feedback

Disappointed with the room.

2 nights stay. Room was very dated, tired and in much need of renovation. Marks on the walls and bathroom shower had such low pressure it was unusable. Tap pressure was fine, so nothing to do with Scottish water.... just need a pump for the shower! The toilet also did not flush and had a sticker on it saying to try a few times!! Even so it was very hit or miss. We highlighted the issues with the room to reception the next morning and were moved to another room, which was at least functional! Very overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Front garden nicely kept and staff friendly and helpful.
