Great location and cool atmosphere

Hotel very clean & quiet. It does have convenient parking at hotel, valet only for $65-75/day. Restaurant/bar on corner of hotel, we didn't get to go there because we were busy going to other restaurants in San Francisco. Traders Joes around corner, very convenient for snacks/drinks. Only 3-4 blocks to Wharf, very walkable!

Elevator on the verge of failure, walls lacked sound proofing. An old property with visible and cheaply done infrastructure upgrades. Staff had difficulty finding reservations and communicating. Excellent bar/restaurant attached. Window AC and ceiling fan never succeeded in circulating the stale air. The all night loud TV and smoking by my neighbors is not the hotel’s fault, but indicative of the people you will sharing a hotel in this price range with. I don’t expect more with my limited travel budget, but others might.

Overall good place to stay. It was clean, they had everything you may need. But it was pretty far from places I wanted to see. Would stay here again just for the price though.

​Do not stay here. We had such a terrible experience that we didn't even unpack or stay the night. ​From the start, management was entirely unreachable—they ignored phone calls, texts, and emails. Upon arrival, we were charged $30 to park in the back, but when we tried to enter through the back door and rang the doorbell, no one ever opened it. ​When we finally made it inside, people were loudly arguing right in the front reception area, making the environment feel extremely unsafe. The property is poorly maintained with loud, creaking floors and dirty carpets. To make matters worse, our room smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette smoke. ​We got ready, left for a concert, and as soon as we got back, we checked out immediately. Save your money and safety—look elsewhere.
