We needed a place to stay for the whole family and had a room with 5 beds facing the sea. Check in worked fine, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pubs and shops in walking distance, will stay again if passing through again.

The hotel was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price we paid. Although an old building, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We also had a room with a sea view, and the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the lovely promenade. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Highly recommend.

Warm welcome from staff. Hotel dated. Beds creaky and need to be replaced. We had family room and woke each other up all night due to beds creaking when moving. Small bathroom en-suite was clean but pokey. Didn’t have breakfast. I’d stay again at a push but would rather pay slightly more for the comfort of a premier inn
