It seems we were lucky to be in the smaller rooms on the top floor, as these were air conditioned! I can’t really say better than fine overall, which is in part because of the cost - for what it was, it didn’t feel like good value. The styling in the hotel is a bit off (eg. bar lighting too bright) and the communal areas to the rooms a bit shabby. It was fine for a two night stay, given the location is excellent.

We used this as a convenient one night stopover before an early channel tunnel boarding. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Didn't use facilities as we arrived too late for supper and left before breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Served the purpose very well.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was great. We chose it for the proximity to Le Shuttle and had a very early crossing so no breakfast! The only down side was that the building had scaffolding up and that spoiled the look and our view.

Greeted on arrival, staff were great. Nice hotel, clean room, lovely bath in the room, lovely view. Sadly the lack of air conditioning ruined it for us. We had the suite on the 3rd floor and it was ridiculously hot and you can only open the windows a very small amount. I definitely wouldn't recommend through the summer months as we didn't sleep well at all.
