Our stay was beyond great! It was amazingly beautiful, fun, and peaceful!!! The staff is the nicest, most accommodating, and friendly!! The food is fresh and SO DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend this hotel!!! Our favorite? Pool, lake, howling monkeys, spider monkeys, the food, our bungalow… literally everything!!!

Beautiful hotel on the shore of a beautiful lake. Facilities are excellent, comfortable, even too perfect. Staff is super friendly and will help all your needs. My daughters (8 and 10) ranked it in their top 3 hotels they have visited because they had so much fun, especially in the lake and pool. Very recommended.

What an amazing place. From the location to the staff to the natural environment and facilities, La Lancha is top notch. We had a large group (four families each with children) and La Lancha staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating for our group. We look forward to staying there again soon!

Incredible Spot

I love this little spot nestled away in the jungle of Guatemala overlooking Lake Peten. It was quiet and peaceful and everything I needed to relax.

The place its magical, staff is very attentive. Our ac was not working when we got there they fixed the issue with inn minutes, after that everything was just perfect , i stayed in june 3 and going back again in august… had the best time !

Incredible!

This resort is incredible and the service is fantastic! We took the boat from the airport to the resort and we were greeted with welcome drinks and a candle lite dock. Then we rode the funicular up to the resort. The meals were delicious! The setting was magical!

Magical lake setting

I stayed here with my son and his girlfriend and the setting is magical, serene and beautiful. We swam in the lake while watching a family of monkeys watching us from the trees and swallows dipped and flew over the lake. The service is very warm and friendly. We drank delicious cocktails, ate good food and recharges our batteries.

Wonderful place nestled in the jungle by lake Peten itzá. The property consists of a cluster of casitas (huts) where guests can enjoy nature and relax. The staff are dedicated to making the stay truly enjoyable and look after all details - like a welcome drink and moist towel at check in, yo calling guests by name to make them feel at home. The property is stunning, there are cañíes, paddle boards, a stunning dock, a jumping rope - all the amenities to make for a wonderful stay by the lake.

I loved that the "room" was not connected to others and the location was not on the path to the restaurant, etc. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out to the vista. The staff and restaurant personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We went on several excursions - to Tikal one day and the boat launch to Flores the next day - and the details were smooth and effortless.

We stayed at La Lancha after touring Guatemala - we wanted to be near Tikal. Our stay was simply fabulous! Nestled in the midst of the jungle but on a lakefront La Lancha offered us a wonderful and relaxed stay full of beautiful scenery, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, canoe rides and stand up paddle boarding activity. We truly enjoyed our time here. The place is simply stunning with lithe huts (casitas) scattered in the midst of the jungle and a team of staff dedicated to ensuring our stay was pleasurable. Every detail was taken care of.

Beautiful property on the lake and our room felt like a private escape. Excellent service with the staff going out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and inquiring about our daily activities. They even packed breakfast for us when we left early for the Tikal sunrise tour and for the airport. My only minus was that I thought the food was slightly overpriced and some of the dishes lacked flavor. But overall it was great experience!
