Hotel was clean and well maintained. We picked this hotel because it had a loft with a bed for our daughter, so we could all be in the same room. Just a personal preference, we did not like the open concept bathroom which offers little privacy. Also, the shower leaked from the other side of the glass leaving water puddles trailing out. The vibe of the hotel was very cool and we liked the security it offered. Travel was easy with a tram right outside of hotel and a taxi stop.

Our stay at The Ruby Bea Hotel in Florence was a really great experience overall. The location couldn’t have been better—everything felt easily accessible, which made exploring the city so much more enjoyable. What stood out the most was the staff. They were incredibly kind and consistently helpful, whether it was giving directions, offering thoughtful recommendations, or helping us arrange a taxi. That level of service made a big difference and made us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight, especially if you’re trying to keep things a bit on the healthier side. There were solid options that didn’t feel overly heavy, which was a nice way to start each day.
