This is a nice hotel in a good location in Florence. Walking distance from most places we wanted to see. Very close walk to the river and to Ponte Vecchio. Also convenient to allow us to walk around the other side of the river. This hotel is very close to all the shopping and a close walk to the main piazza. Hotel is walkable from the train station with luggage - about 10mins. We did not try the breakfast here. Airconditioning was ok - did the job. Note that there are stairs to get up to the first level where there is a lift, however the staff are extremely helpful and will bring up your luggage for you on arrival (and departure). Rooms were clean.

Incredible location in central Florence. Located directly above the very first Gucci store in all of Italy it is surrounded by high end shops, museums, and a multitude of restaurants. It is only a short walk to every desirable destination. The rooms are beautiful, extremely comfortable, and clean. The staff are superb. Extremely professional and friendly. The breakfast was high quality and well worth it as an add on. We absolutely loved our stay here and highly recommend the Isabella if you’re ever in Florence.

We had a lovely stay. Great location. The staff was fantastic--every person we dealt with was exceptionally helpful, courteous, and kind. The shower was small and the water temperature was a bit difficult to control, but everything was clean and nice. It may be worth noting that we experienced quite a bit of street noise (revelers) each night, so don't plan to sleep with the windows open.

Starting with the positives: The location was really good. The people were very kind and helpful with suggestions. The room size was decent. The morning breakfast was good as well. Now the not-so-positives: There is no elevator access for the ground floor. So, at the end of a long day when you’ve logged in 20k steps already, climbing a couple dozen more steps hurts more than it would otherwise. Also, we were there in the middle of the heat wave so even though they had AC in the rooms, they controlled the temperature and the fan speed of the AC. On request, the reduced the temp a bit for our room (but the fan speed was still at 1). That was definitely not enough. So, every night we were there, I woke up sweating in the middle of the night. If you are not visiting during the hot months (we were there last week of May), lack of powerful AC will be a non issue.

Absolutely loved staying here! The location is prime and above all the designer shops. You are central in Florence and everything is a 5 - 15 minute walk. Service was fabulous and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
