OK, but some issues! First of all, the hotel is in a pretty good location, Florence’s city centre is all quite close with one another, which made it easy to walk through. Initial greeting with attendants was poor, we weren’t sure which doorbell it was and we pressed a few times and she came in yelling at us, even though we were standing for 10-15 minutes in the peak heat. Most of the staff we were seeing all seemed pretty annoyed all the time. The AC doesn’t work, you’re left with two fans. Although, they offered other rooms it remained the same in terms of how cool the room was (Not much.) Website states the train station is a 15 minute walk, it’s more of a 23 minute walk which is important to note if you’re coming in with heavy luggage. Rooms are like apartments, you have to take your own trash out and there isn’t daily clean towels only once a week I believe Overall, good location, poor AC, you were sinking in the beds, and OK staff.

Ideal location for getting around. Lovely places to eat around that area. Main water taxi stop Guglio just about 5-10 minute walk to accommodation or station walking distance to if coming from the Airport. Lovely to wake up in the morning open the curtains and see the canal boats passing. Only thing l would suggest would be to have coffee making facilities in the rooms rather than main communal area. But that just so as soon as you wake up you can get a cuppa. Would recommend stay here it was lovely.

Clean room with 9 foot windows that opened up to a plaza. The staff was wonderful. I don’t know her name, but the woman at the desk every day was a pleasure to deal with. CON: Hotels.com advertises that it has a restaurant and a bar and that it serves breakfast for a fee. NONE of that is true! There is a bar immediately adjacent to the hotel and a restaurant immediately next to the bar, but they are not a part of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, unless you want breakfast included or an on-site restaurant or bar.

A great Hotel!!!!

I stayed three nights at this hotel and was very happy to have stayed here. The room was HUGE and clean. I was not too sure about the neighborhood, at first glance. But, I had no problems and really enjoyed the location and easy walk to the Duomo and everything in the area. Lots to do, great restaurants everywhere. I recommend the pizza place next door.

The room was excellent, clean and seemed newly renovated. However, the hotel was hard to get to due to one way roads and limited parking nearby. The was not a big hotel sign in front (a little sign near the doorbell). The hotel staff gave me the google address where to park (behind the hotel is a different address). The hotel was a short walk to nearby tourist sights.

The apartment was huge and comfortable for our family. Downside was we weren’t told upfront about the fee for parking snd when we asked for more towels we were told only guests staying more than 3 nights could get extra towels. The A/C did not work well. The property was spacious- lots of room for our family, great to have a kitchen and free laundry on site. Overall the place is ok but a lot of mosquitoes in the apt. Great views of the dome and we had access to a portico but we couldn’t use it due to rain. Also somehow water seeped into the apt after the rain. Thankfully it missed all our luggage. This a good hotel to rent especially traveling with family like us. We were family of five and we had 2 separate bedrooms with a living room, sofa and a kitchen. The place is good for it’s price. The issues I have are the fact the bedsheets are very old worn out and even had holes in them. I’m not sure if the rooms and the property are well taken care of. The free breakfast was a joke. They will give you a single croissant, a coffee and an orange juice. If you consume anything else more than that they will make you pay. Also the free breakfast was not actually inside the hotel property but rather outside a restaurant next door, so that was confusing.
