Good if you don’t have heavy large luggage otherwise you have to push luggage yourself (including stairs + couple of tram track) Nice room except air conditioning. Even though I can hear the noise but the room felt like above 110 degrees. So for hot summer days will think twice

The staff were really helpful and we even got a room upgrade. Great location and walking distance to everything. It is right beside the train station but there are some people that hangout by the train station in the evening which may be intimating to travellers but they kept themselves to themselves. Would recommend it for a clean, basic stay in a central location

Location is superb. The hotel is a short walk of about 5-8 mins from the train station. Room and the bathroom is relatively spacious. They only got rainshower for bathroom - we would have preferred if they also come with handheld ones. We had issues raising the temperature of our AC. Called the reception and learned they got a central control and is able to adjust that so we could lower the temperature of the AC subsequently. It is the first time we encountered this mechanism in hotel rooms. Not sure why the need for central control but do take note of this when staying here. Breakfast is continental style and has a good spread of variety. You would like this hotel if you prefer non-contemporary styles. They are more traditional in their design and equipping.

Hotel was nice and traditional. Clean and convenient for the city centre. Only hotel that we stayed in that had AC cool enough! One of the front desk staff was amazing. He gave us huge glasses of ice, advice on restaurants, lots of other tips and packed us some breakfast when we had to leave at 4:00am. Wish I knew his name … I hope this reaches the hotel and the front desk staff.

We had a fabulous stay. The hotel is amazing b a superb location. Very, very close to both the train station and the tram stop for the airport. The staff were very helpful and made some great recommendations for restaurants. We were also able to leave luggage at the hotel before and after check in and check out. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Embassy again

Walkable location from the train station. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning was not working enough. We were unable to get an additional pillow, and it was difficult to obtain extra toilet paper. There were also no tissues provided in the room. For a 4-star hotel, I was disappointed.

Used the hotel for a visit to Florence. It is a short walk from the main railway station and the city centre is also walkable. If arriving to the city prior to advertised check-in or leaving after check out they do hold luggage so allow the visitor to explore the city unburdened. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The lift is small but adequate, though you may need to wait. The breakfast, which is held in the basement was a typical self-serve style with some items available for order. Absolutely no complaints and I'd be more than happy to use again. Happy to recommend to anyone visiting Florence, though probably not ideal for anyone wanting an accessible hotel - I wouldn't describe it as wheelchair friendly.
