This is a great place to stay in Florence if you’re willing to walk 15 mins to the city center. The hotel is a 2 min walk from the train station which means it’s noisy, but extremely convenient! No hassle dragging luggage down bumpy roads. Just turn a sound machine for some white noise on your phone :) The complimentary breakfast and staff were also wonderful!

Very close to the central station and breakfast was quite good. Price was pretty reasonable compared to expensive hotels in Firenze. The best service the hotel provides is free water. I would definitely recommend this hotel who wants to stay near the central station.

Good place to stay

I have stayed here on and off over the last 25 years. It has been updated, but the room we stayed, we found that the bathroom was very old. The location is great being close to SMN station and the included breakfast was a great bonus too.

Location close to train station was convenient but made for noisy nights. Along with the room itself we were able to hear neighboring rooms toilet flushing and what sounded like moving furniture around. Bathroom was very dated compared to other hotels we stayed at throughout Italy. Staff was friendly and the breakfast got our day started off well.

Rooms are ancient, poorly maintained and with zero soundproofing. Location is good as the hotel can be easily reached by car, and the centre is few minutes walk, however the area in itself is to be avoided as the train station is a catalyst for bad people

Our room (with bath tub and balcony) was spacious, clean and quiet on the side of the train station. The doors kept the sound out. Nice breakfast with a lot of choices. Bar area to meet people. Could fill water bottles with sparkling or still water, and coffee and tea were always available in the lounge. Perfect place to explore Florence. The balconies had a perfect view of the duomo. It looked like the balconies were all on 5 th floor. Wonderful time spent there!

The Breakfast was good. Just across from the train station but it was quiet except our neighbor's loud talking at the balcony. Their smoking also bothered us since it came into our room every day.

It was right next to the Santa Maria novella train station. A mall and walkable to see churches. The David and other sites. And many restaurants also. They were very helpful in showing us a map of the area. Breakfast was excellent also. I would recommend this hotel.

Florence weekend

The location is what makes this hotel. Literally beside the main train station so easy access to all the main sights. Our room (414) was at the front right next to the tram line. So a bit noisy - but being winter the windows were shut. The room was huge with a lovely balcony which would be great in summer. Great views of the Duomo. Room very clean with a great shower, hot water and plenty towels and toiletries. Breakfast was ok for a 3 star hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful.
