The hotel was wonderful. It was clean. In the center of town. Staff were always happy to help. Great suggestions on where to eat. I emailed them before I arrived. We drove to the hotel and they had the parking garage pick up our car. It was very handy. You needed about 1/2 hour for them to get the car from the garage. Their breakfast was marvelous and plenty full. The rooms were nice. But their windows were high off the ground. The ac was good. The tub is slippery and its edge is high. There are elevators but they are small. I would go back there the next time in Florence.

Perfect location. Less than 10 min walk from train station. 3 min walk to Duomo. Near upscale shopping and plenty of cafes to eat and drink at are nearby. Only negative is the street smelled a bit but I don’t think that’s the hotels fault.

A Great Gem of a Hotel! (And the AC is Amazing)

Fantastic stay! The aircon was blasting when we arrived which is very rare in Italy. The room was just perfect in size, and the location is down the street from everything you’d want to (must) see in Florence. From the bathroom to the nice firm bed and pillow options, just a great value. Plus, this hotel is also down the street from the train station. I cannot recommend this enough. And yes, I’ve stayed at the St. Regis, the Westin Excelsior and even the Lugarno.

Awful stay, I usually never leave negative comments. No open gym when displayed otherwise on here, messy organisation at the breakfast + late, AC on in the room mid February, shower not working, some of the reception staff not caring - all this in 16 hours

The location for this hotel could not be better. It is located on the edge of the city center and not far from the train and tram station. Our room was clean and quiet. The shower had good water pressure which can be an issue in some hotels around Italy. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The one draw back was that the lobby and hallways smelled bad. There were some heavy rains so that might have attributed to the sewer smell in the common areas but it was very overwhelming when we first arrived and although it got better it never completely went away. Luckily our room did not smell. We would stay there again.
