Great location and the owner helped with our bags, which was awesome since it is 66 steps up, with no lift. Absolutely beautiful rooftop which is where we had happy hour every evening. Lovely bells from the nearby church and gorgeous views.

Hotel Cardinal of Florence was the perfect hotel for us to stay for four days. The service was fantastic, our room was very spacious and the rooftop patio was delightful. And it was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do while in Florence. We would absolutely stay here again!

This isn’t a luxury hotel. It’s a comfortable, small hotel with extraordinarily kind staff who really want you to enjoy Florence. If you are looking for authenticity you will be surrounded by small bars, cafes and restaurants run by actual Florentines - and you will probably have a better time than if you stayed in someplace that cost twice as much. We loved every minute of it - and particularly the staff, who were wonderful.

Absolutely recommend!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the rooftop view was AMAZING! I felt extremely safe as a solo female traveler and if I return to Florence I will definitely stay here again :)

This hotel is located just about 5 minutes walking distance to Duma. Nice location. Warm hospitality and very helpful, great assistance with bringing our luggage up and down the stairs . Even though this hotel doesn’t have elevator and it is on 3 floors!!!!! At night, all the young generation party in this area and it is very lively.

Hotel Cardinal was in an excellent location. The rooftop terrace was amszing with a great view. The staff on the desk (mateus, mario) were thoroughly helpful, polite and friendly. We cannot recommend the customer service in this hotel highly enough.

It was very calm, beds was comfortable and the shower great. The rooftop has an amazing view of Florence. There are lots of stairs but we were met downstairs to help with luggage.
