Cute boutique hotel in walking distance to Firenze train station. Friendly staff and clean, spacious rooms. Only (tiny!) issue I had was that turning off the lights in the room turned off the main power which prevent overnight phone charging.

When you pay $325 for one night, you're pretty surprised that your towel is ripped along one edge. At home I'd find something like that in the rag bin. In general the room was clean, but the shower base had been neglected over the years and was rusty/grimey. The furniture is on the cheap side, with chairs that are not high enough for the table. Check-in is at 14:00, but I couldn’t get in until 15:05. So the hotel appears to be understaffed. (The capable young woman who was at the front desk at 14:00 was there preparing and serving breakfast--in the lobby--at 8:00 while having to break now and then to check out departing guests. But if ceiling frescos are important to you, perhaps the other stuff won't bother you.

Nice hotel in a beautiful old building. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Bathroom was not very big but that wasn't a problem. Location is excellent, within walking distance of all major sights and near the train station. Would stay here again.
