This hotel is in a great location close to train station, restaurants, shopping, and the main sights. The staff was very helpful with directions and information. The breakfast was mediocre. The room is tiny and the shower was cold and had weak water pressure.

Superb location! Minutes away from major attractions, so we were able to go back to the hotel multiple times during the day to freshen up and cool down in the hot temperature this August. Breakfast selection was good, room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The receptionists there were very friendly and helpful too. We loved our stay here while in Florence.

The gentleman that received us on our arrival was so helpful and approachable - he patiently answered all our questions which we had quite a few of. :-) Breakfast was wonderful, the room was very clean (!) and the hotel was just a few meters away from the Florence Duomo and some amazing restaurants and shops.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from both the Duomo and Santa Maria Novela train station. Simple continental breakfast but does the job. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room was nice for us as day travelers. If you’re doing a short trip to Florence, I would highly recommend this hotel. Also fantastic restaurant just next door with very good wait staff and DELICIOUS food

Hotel Accademia is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, SMN train station and major attractions. There is a staff member there 24 hours. The staff is extremely friendly and gave us great lunch and dinner recommendations. Room was clean, air conditioning was cold and location is quiet. Unfortunately we were not able to eat breakfast as we had early tours both days. The only negative was to get to our room (210) we had to navigate several stairs that both ascend and descend. We had our son with us which helped with our heavy luggage. Most hotels in the area have the same issues with no elevators. Other than that everything was perfect.
