Great location across from the train station and easily walkable to the Duomo, restaurants, cafe’s, shopping, etc. I have stayed here three or four times and the staff are wonderful and I see the same staff year after year which says a lot. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed and includes Prosecco because when in Italy you must start your day with Prosecco! And end your day on the hotel’s Rooftop Bar! One thing, the hotel and rooms have character and are beautiful but not spacious so if you have mobility issues, you may need a more modern hotel with more open space but if you don’t mind a few steps and smaller space, don’t miss the Baglioni experience!

Beautiful property with elegant rooms. Rooftop restaurant is lovely with an attentive staff. The outdoor area was not open for full service due to the time of year, but looked very nice for a visit in the warmer seasons. If coming in on the train as we did - you can't beat the location - convenient to all the sites of Florence.

The hotel was conveniently located for exploring the area, and its proximity to the main station made it very easy to get around. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that there were quite a few stairs within the hotel facilities, which was a bit challenging when travelling with children and a lot of luggage.

The hotel and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. However, the service did not quite meet our expectations. When we arrived, our room was missing some basic amenities, and it took multiple calls to have the issue addressed. While the staff eventually resolved the situation and made an effort to compensate for the inconvenience by gifting us a bottle of wine, it would have been preferable if everything had been prepared properly from the start. Other than that staff was friendly and the location was great!

Hotel Baglioni is conveniently located right by the train station and the T2 tram to/from the airport. It is a short walk from the Duomo and the surrounding attractions. The hotel has a lot of old world charm and comfort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. It is a large hotel with many rooms so the breakfast room can feel crowded. The view of the Duomo from the breakfast room on the 5th floor is incredible. I would definitely stay here again.
