What a nice surprise! We've stayed at the Essence Hotel for only one night, and the stay couldn't be better. The room was spacious, with a very nice view of Firenze. Location was great, only 15 min walking from the Santa Maria Novella train station. And Rafaella, from the front desk, was so lovely with us.

This hotel has an only few rooms on random old building but in front of the hotel has really nice & quiet park, very modern and clean rooms. It is walkable from Duomo and historic center of city and train station.

The hotel is about a 15-20 walk to most historical locations in Florence. Our room was large on the fourth floor with a great view. The hotel is mostly like a bed and breakfast as it doesn’t have a main hotel lobby to enter from as the hotel starts on the 3rd and 4th floors. We enjoyed the relaxed location of the hotel as it was across the street from a nice park and bus stops are conveniently close. Our room was cleaned and made up everyday and everything was in working order.

Essence hotel makes good sense

We had a great stay at the Essence Hotel. It is in a quieter part of town but still close to everything. The room we stayed in was clean and modern. Most major attractions in Florence were within easy walking distance. We'd be happy to stay here again next time when we come back to visit Tuscany.
