This is a fabulous property in the heart of Florence and yet very quiet for sleeping….no traffic and no people noise. Food choices abound and the Ufizzi and Signoria are only steps away. There is a lift for those who cannot navigate stairs and walk in showers. Arno is only a stone throw away. Hello to Ed…..terrific!

There was a bit of a delay once we arrived as this hotel operates more like on limited staffing. Our host contacted us prior to us arriving but didn’t reply to us for about 15 min. The hotel is locked and your host will give you the code or be present to take care of you. Other than that, the rooms are smaller in Italy but this one was completely remolded. No breakfast is available as there’s no one present most of the time. Regardless of this our stay was pleasant and we loved the location as you’re walking distance to most of the attractions the city has to offer. Great dining locations around you too. Out of all the hotel we stayed in Italy this was one of my favorites.
