Our stay at Il Rivalta was top notch and we would definitely come back. The staff was very professional and courteous and the hotel was beautiful. Our room had a direct view of the Arno River and it was spectacular.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. The location was amazing, with a 15 minute walk or less to pretty much everything. The view from the junior suit was mesmerizing, and absolutely recommend if you are celebrating something special. Seeing the Ponte Vecchio at sunset from our room was a memory we won’t forget. Breakfast was just the cherry on top when starting a long day of sightseeing. We will absolutely be back!

The room was architecturally beautiful and large, but in need of upkeep. The original parquet floors felt precarious (dry rot maybe) and the overall mood of the room was dark and a little “I’m sleeping in a museum”. For such an impressively large room, the bathroom was one the smallest I’ve see. In a hotel. The shower was so small I could barely fit and I’m small. The devil is in the details…

This place is amazing. There is 24/7 receptionist, the rooms are clean and modern. Windows can open to allow the beautiful fresh air in, and the breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Such a beautiful and cool property!! The location was fantastic and the staff was really nice. We stayed in a king room, and the high ceilings and large open room was such a luxury. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the lighting in the bathroom is good too. The hotel is right along the river, and there are many restaurants and shops an easy walk away. We are so happy with our choice to stay at this property for our stay in Florence. We would highly recommend this hotel, and in fact I already recommended it to a friend who will be in Florence this summer!

The hotel was in the perfect location, walkable to everything. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great! Our room was spacious and super clean. Quiet! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night, so good! Walkable to the train station, Duomo and bell tower attractions. Lots of shops and good restaurants! Check-in was easy, our room wasn’t ready they took care of our luggage and we just explored Florence. Thank you for a nice stay!

The hotel is of great location, clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a delux double king room. The room is very spacious, but the bathroom is small, the shower stall is even smaller, so that an above average person can’t turn around in the stall.

Breakfast was wonderful with a large variety of traditional Italian meats, cheeses, pastries along with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable although the bed was rather firm. Our bathroom had dual rain shower heads and handheld sprayers. Water was slow to heat but very hot once it did.
