Vacations Close To Flatwaters Paddling

It was a great venue and comfortable. I would have given a 5 star rating, but house keeping skipped our room one day out of our 3 night stay.

I highly recommend staying at the Oceaneer! The motel has been recently renovated, has clean rooms with comfortable beds, and great amenities including a gym and pool. There is direct access to the beach and is in close proximity to restaurants and the boardwalk.

Great property located on Wrightsville Beach. Although the hotel structure is a little older, all of the updates made by Trailborn have made the property feel new. All the amenities are there with a nice small pier across the street on the sound side of the island for watching sunsets.

Best location by far on the strip! Restaurant has been out of food and outdated this trip and last. Actually went up the street to the holiday in and ate at Solstice. Made me question, do I want the furthest end of the beach or amenities?.. Yes Shell Island needs to step thier game up. Could be the best spot, they just dont know how to run it.. Amenities are key. They served us can beverages at $4 at dinner, no tiki bar as advertised, Great for older people like me, but not if you're fun and want to stay here the whole time.. Should be labeld as a hotel and not a "resort". Talking with people on the elevator, they felt the same..... This place is gold mine if ran by the right people.. Wish they gave me shot to make it happen...
