“A lovely hotel and spa. Nice swimming pool, sauna and gym. Good breakfast. Nice friendly staff. Excellent location. My only disappointment was the room was a bit tired and only 2 sockets which were on the opposite wall to the bed. Also the kettle had to sit on the floor because the cable wasn’t long enough to have on the table. Also would have been nice to have some decaf teabags. Small problems really but just observations.”

“Nice big room, quiet area but only a few minutes walk from the centre of Buxton. Street parking but seemed to be no problem finding a space. Eating places including a good cafe with breakfast, and shops not far away. Had a problem getting in. The * after the code number was not very obvious on the email. Tried to ring the mobile that was given but no reply. Eventually we realised about the entry code. We only saw the lady cleaner,no-one else. She was very pleasant and makes a good job of the...

“Good location and clean, attractive property with plenty of space - ideal for a family. It was a last minute booking so we were grateful to find it. We were absolutely warned about possible noise from the bar below and that it would go on late (and earplugs were provided) so we can't complain about this because it wasn't a surprise, but I don't think I could stay there again at a weekend.”
