Cool little hotel room. Nice view on the fjord. Check in was easy, a bit odd that there is no one at reception on checkout. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a good spot in town, although it’s a pretty small town so I guess anywhere would be ok. One thing to note- some websites say the exhibition is included with the hotel stay. That’s not true, it’s like a 10% discount. Also parking is a bit of an issue so if you have mobility problems might not be a good spot for you.

Superb. Stayed just for one night of 16 in Iceland. Recommended by our daughter, as she had stayed there in 2022. Excellent room on first floor, with a balcony and overlooking the fjord. Amazing view from the room.....once the mist had lifted. The room decor and fittings were exceptional and I particularly liked the solid wooden floor. The history of the building was very interesting, this coupled with the historic exhibits. Really peaceful with an ambience that made us want to stay longer. One of the best hotels I have visited.
