“Comfortable rooms in a peaceful lake location. Grounds are immaculate as are rooms. Good restaurants with some lake views and food is quite good although service can be a bit slow and spotty.
Entertainment on Friday at the restaurant was a tad loud and annoying similar to kareoke with someone playing songs and substituting their voice.Previous night was nice piano playerwhich was more appropriate.”

“The hotel was a bit dull, I had to pay in advance; although I had to pay an expensive room, they charged me an extra cost of more than 30 pounds to change the king bed to twin beds which is unacceptable and additionally we were located in a room for disabled people although we requested a different one.
The options in the breakfast were very poor and the service a bit slow.
I would not recommend this hotel at all: too expensive and poor service and it is not even well located.”

“Absolutely everything during our stay at Ashbrook was perfect! From the warm welcome on arrival, to the spotless and beautiful huge room through to the freshly baked bread, pancakes and bacon for breakfast that had us full right through to our evening meal, I literally couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommended and we'll be booking again next time we're in the area. ”
