Vacations Close To First Baptist Church

The rooms were cozy. There was free coffee, tea and water in the hall. The hotel was very efficient and the food in the restaurant was delicious - I still think about the hot chili oil avocado toast and the blood orange cocktail with tajine. Loved staying there. We thought it was worth a little splurge.

Pool could use a refresh. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Biggest complaint is the way the room is set up and the total lack of hooks/towel rack to hang towels. The frosted glass on both the bathroom and shower doors face the beds. Because it is frosted glass versus a wood door, if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or get up earlier than the rest of your party, the light shines right into the eyes of those who are still sleeping. Whoever designed this layout/material use should never be hired again. Also, how does a room that sleeps 6 (2 queens and a double pull out sofa) only have one hook to hang your towels in the bathroom? Really doesn’t give people an option to reused towels if they can’t hang them to dry after use. Again poor planning
