“We stayed for three nights at Marlborough House in September. We found the entire place to be very fresh and well maintained. It had a feeling of being recently renovated that was very enjoyable. The single room was spacious with a table, desk and cupboard. The bathroom was small with no place to put your things around the sink, as is very common in England and Europe. “Lovely stay, beautiful and well maintained rooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful and we loved the food at the pub. We were in the boycott room and only downside is that it is a little small and the bathroom doesn’t have shelves or large sink area to place toiletries. Nice touches with the bottles of water and coffee machine”

“I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!”

“Property is off the beaten path. Very quiet. Rooms are clean and modernized. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Property is beside open fields and trails. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Easy access to the pub and the restaurant. Breakfast included lots of options and was ample. A great overall experience.”
