The bed was uncomfortable, very low to ground, we bought a mattress topper. The couch was hard as a rock so there was no place to actually get comfortable unless you sat at the dining table. The staff was great and always very friendly. The building and area is very clean. The pool looked nice but we never used it.

The hotel could use some updating (hall carpet, lobby, entry way) but my room was amazing! We had a 2 bedroom suite with very comfortable beds, a new couch in the living room area, nice TV's in all rooms and a newer kitchen area.

AWESOME STAFF

The hotel room was clean, the shower had endless hot water and a great shower head, but what made our stay exceptional was the staff. All the girls in the office were so friendly and sweet. They made us feel like family.

Our cozy weekend getaway

Me and my significant other meet here every other weekend due to the distance between our homes and the convenience of the location. We have never had a bad experience yet. However when we did have a maintenance issue, staff didn’t waste anytime in moving us to another room. Since our first time a few months ago, management and staff have always been friendly, helpful and professional. They have provided prompt service to any of our requests and each room we’ve stayed have been cleaned and comfy. It’s like staying in our own apartment, home away from home

Don't let my 4-star ratings dissuade you from staying at the Towneplace Suites in Findlay, Ohio; I rarely give 5 stars. That said,this was our second time staying at this location in 2 years, and reserving the same type of accommodations (2 bedroom suite). The rooms are clean and well-appointed, and a bonus is that each bedroom has its own heat/ac. There are plenty of pillows and blankets, and these beds are hands down the most comfortable I have had the pleasure of using in a hotel. The kitchen is stocked with silverware, measuring cups and spoons, steak and cutting knives, pots, pans, a colander (!), cutting board, pot holders, dish soap, dishwasher, dish towels, paper towels, drinkware, plates, bowls...the whole shebang. The living area sports a 48" or 50" (not sure which, but it's plenty big) smart TV, a couch large enough for 3 people, a large ottoman, a work desk/dining table and 4 dining chairs. We had a small issue with some of the stations not displaying but once we notified the front desk they got one of their maintenance personnel on it and it was fixed within a couple of hours. Turns out the cable service the hotel uses was having a server issue and just needed to be reset...easy fix. The property boasts an in-ground pool, grilling area (we checked out the sizable Weber grill they have there for guests to use and it's CLEAN!), outdoor lounging area with patio umbrellas. The property is kept clean and free of debris outside. They have plenty of baggage carts.

It was nice that they immediately found a remote when the one was missing from my room, and the water was empty in the fitness room, and the lady working all night was nice enough to change it right away. I got to use the tray mill, but it was disappointing that the elliptical machine was broken and many of the free weights were missing.

OK but will not be back

Check in was good, but there is no real lobby—front desk is tucked away and it was a little hard to figure out where to check in. Our 1-bedroom suite was spacious. The sleeper sofa didn’t fold out, only sleeps one person and wasn’t terribly comfortable. The kitchen was nice but needs a deep cleaning. The hot water for my shower was only lukewarm, which was not pleasant at 6 a.m. Breakfast was more of a continental, although you could make a waffle. Overall an ok stay, but we would stay elsewhere the next time we are in the Findlay area.

Some good and bad

The one room suite I had was larger than my first apartment. The full kitchen was in great shape with the refrigerator spotless. My only issue was with the beds. The queen size mattress in the bedroom was quite low to the ground and not very comfortable (personal opinion). And the pull out couch that is advertised isn't. It is more like a flip over box spring, that needs a mattress. And unfortunately none was provided. I was sharing the room and had expected that my roommate would be able to sleep on something besides a padded mattress cover. The breakfast has a couple of hot items, waffles and oatmeal. Everything else is cold. It will put something in your belly, but that is it. All in all my stay was both good and bad.

Had a family suite. Separate bedrooms. Common living room with a small kitchen where we could cook if need be. Bfast room was small, but the food and quality of food was great. I would recommend this places to others.
