A wonderful family run operation. L Easier to find than most roads, too, due to the helpful signage in the alleys. Great restaurant with an amazing view of the south fort.

We enjoyed our stay! It was easy to locate Palais Fes Yahya as they have several flashes on the medina walls directing you once you are in the general area. All of the staff were super helpful with any questions we had - whether it was a helping us with laundry, how to book an early morning taxi to the bus station or recommendations for a restaurant or a Hammam. The air conditioning worked great and cooled the room down quickly upon return from a hot walk through the medina. Breakfast was delicious as was the restaurant upstairs! We would definitely recommend staying here!

The room and bathroom did not look like the pictures at all, but the amazing staff made up for that. They were so kind, helpful, and friendly. They made sure we knew where we were going, set up taxis for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was also delicious and the best one we had in Morocco.

We spent three nights at Palais Fès Yahya and truly loved our stay. This family‑run hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of the Fes medina, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help us navigate the medina and recommend excellent guided tours. The riad itself has a beautiful, traditional décor that adds so much charm to the experience. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace — a lovely place to start or end the day. Breakfast was included and just perfect to begin our mornings. A warm, authentic and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Hello First of all, there's no pool at the property, there's a restaurant at the top where you can eat, we had tajine, rice and chicken. The food was delicious and tasty. Overall the service was good, the small thing I didn't like, I don't think if it's their fault or a FEZ thing, but we walk a lot to get there and the access is like a labyrinth. Once you get inside you forgot your pain lol. The Location is good and you can easily walk to the taxi and souk. Thanks

I stayed at this riad for two weeks and they literally treated me like family. At one point I got sick and they checked on me several times and went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription. The service was outstanding in every way and the restaurant is d3eservedly one of the top rated eateries in Fes. Stay here. You will be glad you did!

We returned to Palais Fes Yahya after a couple of days in Chefchaouen as we had had such a lovely stay previously. It was like coming home to old friends!! The family helped us to arrange a last-minute visit to the Chouara Tanneries, before catching our train to Marrakesh. They really are a delightful family- so very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this authentic and beautiful riad if you are coming to Fes!!

Great value for money. Easy access to tours (near a main street) and very clear directions in the medina. Dinner and breakfast were the best we had in town, both in taste and presentation. Staff were genuinely helpful, special thanks to Yassine and Abde Arhman, and the owner Abdul was clear and efficient. They arranged a hammam with pick-up. Room was spotless and the bed/blanket were very comfortable. Bonus: a small shop 1 min away you can buy snacks and drinks, the lady boss and the kids are very honest and helpful.

If I could give these guys 20 stars I would! The host family was more than accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. The ‘brothers’ took excellent care of us and we were able to easily arrange two tours of the city, which was very helpful as we were only there for one day. The place was very clean and beautiful. The shower was very hot and full. The best part was walking up the alleyways of the Medina. It took us back in time and it was easy to appreciate the historical aspects of this amazing city. We have definitely fallen in love with Morocco and it’s people!
