“Terrible breakfast, hotel due to revamp”

“Excellent location - local bus stop just a couple of minutes walk away. Polite welcoming staff. A good choice of breakfast. Nice clean room and en-suite. Nice homely atmosphere. Will definitely stay again.”

“We found the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was good and plentiful. The rooms, at least ours, have been modernised but are on the small side; offering little space to relax when not out, dining or sleeping. This is not helped by the lack of comfortable furniture on which to relax in the public area (emphasis on the 'pub'). “Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later.”
