This was our first time travelling with a young baby (4 months) and the hotel was perfect. Everything we asked for was accomodated. The staff were lovely and the hotel is comfortable, spacious and clean. The area is ideal for a peaceful time to dine and visit the local beaches.

What an incredibly beautiful hotel!! The staff would go above and beyond. The hotel room was stunning and smelt amazing… in fact the entire hotel smells amazing! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast buffet had great options and you could order eggs and crepes too. We had a lovely long weekend and can’t wait to return again sometime.

An amazing hotel with brilliant service from the staff who really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as nice as possible. The breakfast was very nice with a great selection of food and eggs cooked to order. The pool area and spa were also very good. The restaurant was also excellent and we really enjoyed eating there.

Perfect for a relaxing couples’ break. The look and feel of the hotel promote instant relaxation. The poolside area and range of beds/spots available are great. The hotel is beautiful, however the bar closed early, often before 5pm. The surrounding area is also super quiet and everywhere seems to close early… assuming it’s due to the season. Lino, at the hotel reception was amazing, always friendly with fab restaurant recommendations.

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in. They really look after you. Its such a quiet and relaxing place where you can truly switch off and relax. The staff are friendly and kind. The area is pretty and there's a good beach only.a short walk away. If you want a relaxing and chilled holiday Portocolom snd Barefoot hotel is where you should stay!

The hotel is stunning. Rooms are a great size with plenty of space for a family. Pool area is relaxing and plenty of beds to accommodate all. The staff were so attentive from start to finish. What a hotel! We originally booked for 3 nights but didn’t want to leave so extended our stay for one more night. The pool area is as beautiful as it looks in the photos, breakfast is served next to it and is delicious, staff are friendly, rooms clean, spa incredible. Even the small details like providing extra sun cream for free by the pool, or providing fresh bottles of still and sparkling water in the room every day, make this hotel a cut above. Trust me you won’t want to leave either.

Property and breakfast were awesome. Nice that the pool was also open in February. Bathroom has a separate toilet with a glass door? When opening the door to enter or exit the room anyone in the hallway can see the person on the toilet. Please frost the glass.

Barefoot is a quiet hotel with a good vibe to relax. All the staff were very friendly and shout out to Alex front reception manager, who went out his way to ensure that our needs were met, especially as I needed gluten wheat and dairy free food. Breakfast had a good range. The hotel was clean and lovely decorated, good comfortable bed and pillows and lovely room decor. The steam room wasn't working, but spa was nice to use. Overall, we really enjoyed this hotel, it was a short walk to local bus stops and the port and local beaches. We enjoyed our stay and would return here if back in Majorca.

Did not live up to expectations

Did not live up to our expectations (pretty expensive/five star). The room was fine, but the outside furniture were dirty. The pool was pretty small and they ran out of towels. No gym. The beach right at the hotel was pretty bad. The breakfast scene was a bit chaotic most days (and the juice was not freshly squeezed). Staff were friendly and good location. Nice vibe and interior design.

We had an amazing time staying at Barefoot hotel, the service we received from the staff was really exceptional. We had a small issue with our air-con not working on arrival and this was solved so quickly for us, with the team constantly checking in. On arrival, we were allowed to check in early which really maximised our trip, as well as being able to store our luggage for our late return flight. Most days we would ask reception for beach and restaurant recommendations and as a result, we ended up visiting some amazing places - special thanks to the lady that recommended Ses Portadores! Most evenings we'd have drinks in the bar - David was a fantastic bartender! I wish we had recorded more names to give special thanks to the staff that were all so helpful and attentive. It truly felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel and had such a wonderful week!! Portocolom is a chilled quiet area and we found the hotel to be a good fit for that.
