I had a late flight into Faro after traveling from Seattle and was exhausted. This place was a a lovely, quiet, friendly, beautiful place for me to catch up on my sleep. Great blackout curtains, nice sheets, big bathroom with lots of hot water. The free breakfast was nice (lots of tasty sweets to try) and it was great to sit outside on the terrace to eat with a cup of hot coffee. The team working there was all friendly, especially the front desk people and the restaurant manager. While I didn't use the pool, it looked wonderful. The old part of the building was palatial and grand. I recommend this place.

The property was original with renovated palace rooms and a very modern block for accommodation: it mixes well together. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was well positioned in the centre of the village.

I came here for a relaxing long weekend and was not disappointed. It was my second stay, and the staff were helpful and friendly, the food was delicious. The hotel was nice and quiet and there was lots of space around the pool.

Fabulous old palace containing the bar, restaurant and lounge areas, whilst the rooms are in a modern new wing decorated with interesting modern art. Excellent property off the beaten path - great for a close option near the airport. Really cool museum meets modern hotel vibe. Pool is really relaxing and you can enjoy a drink/quick bite. There is a restaurant within the palace that has cute little cats running around. Super unique spot!
