The rooftop was great with fab views of the harbour and breakfast was good. The room was basic but comfortable. The pool is quite small and can get a little overcrowded. Excellent spot for visiting Faro. Don’t miss the boat trip on the Ria Formosa. Really worth visiting .

We have stayed at Hotel Faro many times over recent years and generally found it very comfortable. Although some of the rooms are very small, this is manageable for one night. The main issue on this visit was the breakfast offering. Previously this has been excellent but it just wasn't up to thd usual standard this time.

The location was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and helpful arranging my taxi for the following day to the airport. We also had dinner on the rooftop with live music.
