The rooftop was great with fab views of the harbour and breakfast was good. The room was basic but comfortable. The pool is quite small and can get a little overcrowded. Excellent spot for visiting Faro. Don’t miss the boat trip on the Ria Formosa. Really worth visiting .

Centrally located hotel within easy walking distance to town centre. Decent breakfast (special shoutout to the guy who made the omlette!). The rooms were a decent size and clean. Only complaint is that there was an odd smell in the corridors.

We have stayed at Hotel Faro many times over recent years and generally found it very comfortable. Although some of the rooms are very small, this is manageable for one night. The main issue on this visit was the breakfast offering. Previously this has been excellent but it just wasn't up to thd usual standard this time.

We came into Portugal after many hours of travel and our accommodations were the most comfortable nights sleep, the bed and the pillows. We did the breakfast the next morning, and it was exceptional, something for everyone. Really nice hotel perfectly located next to the Faro sign and within walking distance from almost everything. The breakfast buffet had several local dishes (some of which were changed from day to day) and was impressive and very tasty. The only thing which was not perfect was that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay.

Stayed here several times. Good location, within walking distances of shops, restaurants and port of Faro. Reasonable underground car Park @ €15/night. Comfortable room. Breakfast quite good but doesn’t seem quite as good as previously,dining room on top floor with attractive terrace & great views. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.
