“I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful.
The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional!
Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.”

“We were given a warm welcome on arrival; always found a space to park in the car park; loved the location (right next to the river). No complaints about the room, bed or en suite, with all being clean, comfortable etc. Great breakfasts provided if required. All in all, excellent value for money, and most likely where we will return to next time we are in the neighbourhood.”

“Enjoyed stay both this time and also previous stay, excellent customer service
Never have I had to think about the cleanliness or good service as I’d give it a rating of 10/10 on every aspect of the stays”
